6 Most DANGEROUS Sports in the World

From a game of football with over a thousand players, to a fight with no holds barred. These are most dangerous sports in the world. 6) Royal Shrovetide Football: This sport is played in Ashbourne, UK, and every person in town has to play. There are two teams, one side of the town, and the other side of the town. No one is excluded men, and women play. Thousands of players wait at a certain point in the city for the ball to thrown. Once it is thrown each team has to get it to their own wall at the other side of town, by any means necessary. There aren’t really any rules, you just can’t kill anyone. Thousands of people all scrambling for one ball can get a bit violent, and injures are common. The game has been played since the twelfth century, the exact origins of the game were lost in a fire. Men from the Ashbourne Regiment played the game in the trenches during the first world war but had to stop when other regiments complained that the violence was too disturbing. 5) Buzkashi (Goat dragging):   Buzkashi or “Goat dragging” is sport of dragging a goat corpse while riding a horse. 5 Most BRUTAL Martial Arts

5 most brutal martial arts EVER: From the brutal, tree kicking art of Mauy Thai, to the intense knife fighting of Escrima. This is a list of the 5 most brutal martial arts in the world. 5) Mauy Thai:   Mauy Thai is well known to be one of the most brutal, and effective martial arts in the world. Mauy Thai translates to the art of eight limbs because it uses fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Practitioners train their shin bones to become as hard as possible by hitting them against hard objects, such as trees. This causes micro-fractures in the bones, once micro-fracture heal, they come back bigger and stronger. Fighters who have been training a long time can even kick down banana trees with their bare legs. The art gained worldwide recognition in the twentieth century after proving itself against other martial arts in tournaments. It is now one of the most common martial arts seen in any mixed martial arts tournament, such as the UFC or Pride. In Thailand, where the sport originated, it is common for people to start training martial arts under the age of 10, if you wanted to join after the age of 10 you would be considered too old to train. 4) Krav Maga: Krav Maga is famously used by the Israeli army. Since Israel is currently at war with Palestine, it’s army is seeing constant combat, and Krav Maga has proved to be a versatile, practical martial art. This is a list of the most utterly ridiculous and funny things people have been arrested for. 6) Banana Battery:   A You-tube comedian was arrested after threatening police with a concealed banana. The culprit was Nathan Channing, who actually comes from a place called Fruitvale.  Once they saw the threat officers Bunch and Love went absolutely bananas, they were so scared that one policemen accelerated, and drove away, in an attempt to flee from the banana. Love went to pull out his gun, but stopped in his tracks when Channing shouted, “It’s a banana”. We don’t know whether officer love stopped because of relief, because he was frozen with fear, or perhaps he just wasn’t peeling very well. Deputy Bunch said he believed the banana to be a handgun based on training and experience. I’m sure we all feel safe knowing the Police have been trained against bananas, and are in awe of the officers impressive teamwork. 5) Pretending To Be A Ghost:   Anthony Stallard was arrested for pretending to be a ghost, in a cemetery, while people were trying t mourn. After that, the Japanes government introduced tight restrictions on guns and cut off contact with the west. Only the Samurai and their footsoldiers were allowed to use firearms. In the mid 19th century, when they reopened their borders to Europe, major gun use was resumed in Japan. Further reading 9) Deadly Sword Testing:    The samurai would test their sword strikes on human bodies. Only the most skilled Samurai swordsman would be picked to test the quality of swords.
